I find it strange that the human body temperature is almost 100 degrees F.

Human body temperature is also 37°C, if that helps with the strangeness.

We warm blooded no cold blooded tho

That's because you produce heat, if it's 37C around you then you have nowhere to dissipate energy to, and therefore your core temperature increases and will eventually kill you
