@hippyjoe1955 I called the police Saturday morning and they told me they would have an officer drive around the neighborhood about the same time of night and that usually would scare off these types. Seems to have worked because I never heard it again.

@hippyjoe1955 community policing. And we are getting a new mayor and city council is reinstating the police positions that the old mayor and city council eliminated in the summer of 2020. I signed a petition a couple months ago and the man at the store said the reason we are having a chronic problem with meth camps here is that that mayor gave the police orders to stand down and let them rebuild their camps. They have become a menace to citizens and police too. An increase in crimes and arrests even at the homeless shelter and meal kitchens in the past year.

@cherokeepatti Yeah, that everclear is illegal in my state, but I have used it. Turkey man and I drove down to Rhode Island to get some, because we were making apple pie hooch, and bottling it in mason jars to give as gifts one Christmas.

Believe it or not, when you combine lots of liquors and liqueurs and add sherbert and cantaloupe and loads of sugary fruit, the sugar ALSO helps to make you more whacky. You get absolutely banged.

@Nimbus Years ago I boxed in the Golden Gloves....won a couple of fights, then lost a split decision in a fight I thought I had won That guy was destroyed in the next round by the guy who eventually won the tournament in the weight class, so maybe it wasn't so bad that I wasn't given the win in the prior round. 😀
