Why do girls use expensive overpriced makeup if nobody knows?

and why do they buy overpriced, smelly perfume just to smell like the inside of a paint cabinet? 🤔

I guess to try it, or maybe the packaging? Like the way people will put certain types of perfume or allocated liquor on display?
There are a few items that I buy that are more than drugstore, but only because they do work much better for me.

That's right, one can achieve wonderful looks with non expensive ones, and there's no difference, makeup is wonderful and artistic... 😀

I buy mainly Loreal, which is drugstore but not like a buck either. I think they have quality products. I think others buy the expensive stuff more for a feeling, (of fanciness) rather than it looks much different. I do LOVE Cliniques chubby stick lipsticks, its sooo smooth and the color I have is so pretty. I got it free at Ulta as a birthday gift!! I would buy just one even though tgey are 22 bucks lol. I was so grateful for that gift, because I dont buy a ton at Ulta, cant afford it, but they were generous.

I like Bareminerals. For me it seems to apply smoother, and I am able to achieve the look I want. I had tried a lot of different brands till I found it.

There is a huge difference in my “overpriced” makeup than drugstore bought makeup, with very few exceptions. Same goes for skin care products.

Only splurge , Mac eyeliner. Stuffs like gospel. Rest dont matter, I agree.

Is there a difference in how it affects the skin perhaps?
