Stop body shaming. It takes a lot to feel comfortable in our own skin – there’s no room for stigma about our bodies. I got curves and rolls, and I'm slowly learning to accept every last one of them.
@Synyster Exactly! and often those things we shame but should accept should really be celebrated. Stretch marks often = bringing life into the world, and scars are a reminder of something maybe you survived.
@skmokisses Indeed my friend. sometimes taking a step back and realizing that stretch marks, scars, or whatever else we have are nothing compared to being quadriplegic or missing body parts, just saying.
This is a wonderful post and you did a great job delivering your message. Well, some on here have missed the whole point with their comments. 🙄
You're beautiful and you certainly don't have anything to be uncomfortable about. Beautiful sentiment though, too many people are insecure about their bodies.
@Mindfulness beautiful…. Self acceptance of where I’m at, at this exact moment…. My body has scars that show I’ve endured through trials, stretch marks from growing life and nourish babies, hidden scars… I made it through… all prove to I’m living and a survivor
Please make a post on that and I will tell how that terrible disease has affected me and encourage all women that should have a mammogram to have one. @PhaqueYou
Who's body-shaming? Not men. Seems like women who are a bit on the "curvy" side still have plenty of male attention. (FWIW, I'm not seeing any"flaws" at all in the woman in this photo. A bit on the smoking-hot side, FWIW.)
