Happy National Curves Day

Stop body shaming. It takes a lot to feel comfortable in our own skin – there’s no room for stigma about our bodies. I got curves and rolls, and I'm slowly learning to accept every last one of them.

Nothing to shame about you at all, you've got a well-shaped body, my friend.

It's about accepting what we have and improving.

@Synyster Indeed....if it isn't unhealthy or detrimental to ones health (stretch marks for example )then why shouldn't we just accept it as is.
Synyster · 51-55, M
@skmokisses Definitely, staying and eating healthy is key these days. Unfortunately,
stress is stored mainly in the form of abdominal fat, which can be particularly hard to shed. And so the vicious cycle starts when we get stressed.

You're right we should accept stretch marks, cellulite, scars, and whatever else we get as we age. It's part of life.

@Synyster Exactly! and often those things we shame but should accept should really be celebrated. Stretch marks often = bringing life into the world, and scars are a reminder of something maybe you survived.

@skmokisses Indeed my friend. sometimes taking a step back and realizing that stretch marks, scars, or whatever else we have are nothing compared to being quadriplegic or missing body parts, just saying.

This is a wonderful post and you did a great job delivering your message. Well, some on here have missed the whole point with their comments. 🙄

@Synyster Thank you! Yeah, I noticed that also 🙄
