I have a theory that it's less about your body and more about what you project to the world based on what you feel about yourself. Walk with your head down, closed body language, speak quietly and behave in a timid way and people will judge you more on that than if you are confident, sociable and assertive. 🙂

Definitly. Pretty Privellage is a thing. Especially in customer interfacing roles and interpersonal relationships.
Initial attraction always reduces conversational friction.

@twistedrope wise take you're right though people treat me very differently to my wife lol

People seem surprised that my body looks good for an old man, but I think body language has more to do with how they treat me. I try to express confidence and openness with my body language, and people respond to that. My wife has always been beautiful, and I think her beauty and nice body have influenced how people treat her.

I'm still young enough to be viewed as a potential sexual conquest.

Whether you are fat or skinny?
Or how much of your body is seen?
How you dress is something to consider too.
How people respond to you can be influenced by the overall first (or lasting) impression. How they treat you will depend on how you treat them. Treat them with respect and you’ll get the same.

It’s not just the body, I think height and smile help as well. The mind only matters after the initial visual impression. That’s why I enjoy dressing well too.

It gives you a first impression head start. That's a fact.

On a 1-10, I think it would be a 10 actually.
It seems like it would be that way for most people whether good or bad as appearance is ALWAYS the first impression.

More than it actually does

I'd be out right lying if I said my looks at some point haven't determined how somebody has treated me. Good and bad.

I think people with little intelligence and who lack maturity and manners and common courtesy will judge your body and treat you according to how they receive you visually. It's their problem, not yours. Unfortunately, society still puts a lot of stock into how people look and not how they behave.

I'm 57 with a dad bod. I don't have 'Chad' type facial bone structure. Women ignore me for any kind of romantic intent. Being the 'invisible man' suits me. Out of 10 on 'sexual market value' type rating I'd be a 4 at best maybe a 5 if I was lucky. I don't understand body language, or love languages, or personality types, or 'choosing signals', or flirting, etc.
