I prefer poly but monogamy emotionally if that make sense
Poetvann · 26-30, F
@Amber17 it does it's called closed polyamory. Every included interaction outside of the relationship is discussed beforehand.

PerfectionOfTheHeart · 46-50, F
I’m a realist so I know the basic human desire to expand the race, and had a phase where I leaned on the poly side. But it was honestly such a mess for all those involved. The emotional pain endured by all three of us completely made me shut that switch off forever.

And the older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve let my romantic side yearn for “the one” and to be the only one for them. There’s so much comfort and peace within that level of true connection.
Lackwittyname · 51-55, M
Polyamory, but I have nothing against those who prefer monogamy. It is all about what your comfort level is. I would say in my current relationship of 11 years we are more of a closed polyamory now and only do things together, I just don't have the desire and time to emotionally invest and really enjoy the time with my partner.
EBSVC · 41-45
I prefer just having one person. It’s less emotionally taxing and more comforting to me. I can be pretty vulnerable and a bit of a mess. With multiple people involved I would feel guilty for taking the other person away from another one of their partners.

I dunno it’s just really not for me. It’s easy for some folks I’m sure but I can barely manage multiple friendships

Also I don’t understand the second part of your question. Are you asking if I care what other people do? Because the answer to that is basically always no
EBSVC · 41-45
@Miram Oh yea? 🤤😏😏😏
Miram · 31-35, F
@EBSVC let's take this to the government for better tax returns plan.
EBSVC · 41-45
@Miram 🤣🤣🤣

Some capital gains?

You look like a form 1040. Only missing the D 😏

I've been in a Poly relationship for a long time now. But I certainly understand they are not for everyone. I really do believe people have different needs, desires, and ways of feeling and need to choose the relationship(s) that work best for them. The only thing I think is absolutely required no matter what is informed consent.
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
I believe people should do what makes them happy.

Personally, I'm too introverted to juggle multiple partners.
Josh1454 · M
I’ve practiced both. I’d say I don’t prefer one over the other but that’s a lie. I have a lot love to go around. And not physically. I love emotional relationships with multiple people.
H1raeth · 36-40, M
If I had someone, I would never want to share them with someone else or share myself with someone else. If I found myself in that situation, I'd be sad.
SpectralMourning · 41-45, M
I've never been in a poly relationship so I can't speak from experience. I think my mind is only built for monogamy though.
I believe not one same thing works for everyone. As long as all ppl involved are consenting adults, and are honest w themselves and one another, there is no wrong way to do a relationship.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
Monogamy always. It's the only way to fully trust a partner. I wouldn't share my girlfriend or wife.
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
I prefer monogamy but to each their own. When I am with someone, I am devoted to only them.
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
I would likely prefer polyamory if I had the opportunity, but monogamy has the benefit of being less complicated and potentially fraught with drama.
faery · F
I prefer neither, for myself, but don't find anything wrong with either for others.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
Love is complicated and intoxicating. I prefer investing my emotions in one person. Too much fun can get messy.
Miram · 31-35, F
GabbySA8 · F
Monogamy but I’m not against a threesome🫣
Shallowaters · 36-40, M
Well it's all about the connection we make....
Shallowaters · 36-40, M
@Shallowaters the matter of fact is you should feel happy.... In what ever u do
Degbeme · 70-79, M
I am a one woman man.
FreeorLonely · 51-55, F
Monogamy, I don’t share
yugimotodm · 26-30, M
I prefer monogamy because if someone is my person I’d only want to be with them
lissah · 36-40, F
Monogamy. I dont share.
I am not a fan of relationships and so that would lend itself more towards polyamory except for the fact that I am not that interested in sex either 🤔
