Polyamory is not for everyone, and its possible that its not for someone over the entirety of their life.
Relationships can be such a quagmire - monogamy, polyamory, or even one spouse polyamorist and the other is monogamist.
The important thing is being honest and having communication and agreement; preferably before a commitment is made. Having secrets, whether it be cross-dressing or cheating can be toxic to a relationship, especially if hidden but found out later.
