In a way, you can think you're in love with more than one. But definitely not in the same level or intensity.
Or reason.
Or reason.

yes as long as it's the right kind of loves, Eros: romantic, passionate love
Philia: intimate, authentic friendship
Agape: empathetic, universal love
Storge: unconditional, familial love
Ludus: playful, flirtatious love
Like one can be romantic love and the other two can be like family brotherly love friendship but my dear make sure everyone is on the same page, it's not fair for someone to be romantically in love with you when you are in love with someone else romantically, sometimes you have to settle or cut ties.

Yes you can be.Our heart is a complicated thing which can do whatever it wants. But we should be careful in such moments for sure.

@SW-User true...some of us can mistake love for lust

I'm sure it's possible if your mind can work that way, but most people have trouble loving just one person in an adult sexual intimate erotic romantic way and few can share that with two lovers at once because the big problem is jealousy and very fragile mutual trust.
It's totally different to parental love for one's children which is intrinsic and automatic and as a neuro-divergent single dad even I understand that.
I just don't understand the adult sexual intimate erotic romantic type of love.

Sure you can, but if we are talking romantically, it leads to heartache for all concerned.

Of course I’m only in love with one person though but I’m sure it happens
thewindupbirdchronicles · 46-50, M
Why not? I know I loved two people at once. My then girlfriend who was polyamorous became jealous of feelings I had for someone else, a long complicated story, but let's say her and I also never lost love together, even after she was with someone in an affair, it was more as we became closer we learned how much healing we needed? Love is more than how we possess.

Of course you can! Its incredibly untenable and I highly suggest you pick one and discount the others.
If its three romantic relationships, if its a relationship and two friendships thats fine.

I actually think it's strange that people think you can't be. Most of us love a few friends or family members. Why can't someone love more than one romantic/sexual partner?
DemiGod22 · 26-30, M
