I've been having some deep thoughts on this topic. I would say that shaming people because of their appearance is a wrong approach, but having a preference of what you like in your partner isn't. There's this double standard where women will shame a guy if he's not 6 feet tall, but get upset if he doesn't want a woman who's overweight. We all have preferences, yet many people will get offended by them.
I even wrote a story of what I want in a woman, but the amount of backlash proves a lot of people, especially men, can't have standards. You can take a look for yourself.

A lot will say it's unrealistic, will tell you to change or lower your standards, or as far as saying that there won't be a person out there, if not a slim chance, that will suit your standards.

@xSiFiGamer2016x I've noticed the height vs weight fight here and there which is why i asked it the way i did, there are billions of people on this planet, if you look hard enough you will find what youre looking for.
As far as i see it, most people who complain most likely don't even know what they want for dinner most nights, let alone what or who they want to spend the rest of their life with. And even then people are always changing, no one will be young and beautiful forever.

It's not "wrong". People like what they like and I don't think that's really changeable. A girl I was interested in once turned me down flat because she was taller than me -- never held that against her. She gets to pick.
Personally, I find all sorts of things attractive, most much more important than height or weight (to me), but to each their own.
It's not insulting to not find someone attractive, for whatever reason, as long as one doesn't go out of their way to make it insulting.
