When I was 17, I had a relationship with a woman 32 years my senior. I'd never even guessed she was that age, and truth be told I fell really hard for her. She was the perfect 'guide' for age gap and got me squared so I realized we were not riding off into the sunset together - but we could enjoy each other just the same.

And then the rest of life happens and the gap fades while you're in the middle of it - you graduate ... you start your career ... you partner up ... you raise your children ... and then one day it occurs to you that the young woman scheduling volunteers at the Rec happens to be on duty most every minute you're on duty. She's 32 years younger than I - but only for a week or so. Our birthdays are very close. Life is good. Live it.

Understand that AGE is just a myth. What has made you curious is the peer gossiping which brings about what can be called a herd mentality. So what is followed by majority becomes the normal and not followed becomes abnormal. Since majority have relation within the age group, the group starts teasing or mocking any age gap relationship.

So many who enjoy the age gap relationships, just enjoy secretly.

When I seduced a 18 yo girls when I was 30 through phonesex, she did the mistake of bragging about it to her buddy, who in turn told her ex-boyfriend who she broke up with months ago.. and he started stalking and bullying her as if she has done some crime ... 😀😀

So it is best to taste the old wine for yourself and experience ... and not go by others' opinion.

When I was in my late teens/early 20s, I frequently had sex with men in their 30s, 40s and 50s. Were they relationships? I don't know, some of them were more than one night stands.

I’ve had a 17 year age gap and a 19 year age gap. Would I do it again? Absolutely. Even if the age gap were larger. I don’t care much about what people think. As long as we’re happy.

I don't know if it's a big age gap. But were in two relationships being 10 and 12 years difference.

I know of one such. He just turned 90 and she's about 55. He was a professor and she was a student and they've been married a long time.

When I was seventeen it was a big huge hairy deal that I got caught making out with a fifteen year old. I remember everyone in my family being super disgusted, my Dad shouting "What the Hell's wrong with you?" I was kind of ashamed, I was supposed to be able to get someone older. What a failure I was!
