Since a year ago or so, and to save my soul, I started to create Collages of old fabrics and old objects, cushions, birds, and curtains which are all handmade and only in one copy ..,
@Soossie likewise, you are an inspiration to many... Post more whenever you feel like it, I'm curious to see what you making! I particularly like the blue pillow with the wave knitted and the birds at the end..🐦
Very impressive work!! Collages have been my favorite way to express myself artistically. But I’m not as talented as you are. Your work definitely isn’t spam and I’m not surprised that you’re sold out. My first thought before I finished reading was that you should exhibit your work. Nice to see that you have and people like what you do. Very stylish and interesting. I’m impressed!!
(I do something similar but with a different twist on my clothing with pieces of trim old silk-screened T-shirts and scraps of fabric that I find in mom’s sewing and quilting scraps and other items like old dress shirts and boxer shorts 🩳 that have interesting patterns and designs that I like to arrange to make a basic piece of clothing something more fun and unique…)
WooHoooo!!! Congratulations!! 🥳😃🤗😄💕 I swear your talents know no bounds, my friend. I love more than I can find words to say that these beautiful beautiful things that give life to the soul they saved are now out there giving happiness just as that same soul does every day. It’s just wonderful. 😄🤗🤗🤗
You know what?? I never worked on them when feeling sad or sick … I did it when feeling happy and at my best … I didn’t want to send negative energy to anyones home through them …
You are the best and I thank you for encouraging me through this …
Those are so cool looking, Soossie. I am more of a sound artist than a visual artist, but I wish that I could do some things like you have done. And you should be proud of them.
@Soossie That is so true. Sometimes we don't know we may have a hidden talent. I have just started learning how to play the piano again. I took some lessons when I was in elementary school so long ago.
I wish I had seen this before, but there is one word for this, tapestry. You have a brilliant way of sewing together the fabrics of life that matter. Kudos, you wove in art your tapestry and giving nature in love.
