SumKindaMunster · 56-60, M
Oooh great question.

I'm gonna go with "Stand by Me" the adaption of "The Body" from Different Seasons.

It really captured the tone and mood of the story, well written, acted and directed.
4thdimensiondream · 70-79, M
@SumKindaMunster many people’s favorite.
4thdimensiondream · 70-79, M
@HowtoDestroyAngels how did I forget IT. I loved Welcome to Derry too. I still have to read IT and Dream Catcher.
@4thdimensiondream you dont want to read it.. just enjoy the movie 👍
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
@4thdimensiondream Two of my favorite novels. Welcome to Derry was well done. They are already in production for the second season.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
I haven't read any of his books to compare but I think The Mist is my favorite.
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
@caPnAhab The Long Walk was a fantastic movie. I saw it in the theater with my son.
4thdimensiondream · 70-79, M
@caPnAhab a remake of the Mist. There was also a tv mini series of the Mist. I think the movie was very good. Not sure why they are making a new one.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@HowtoDestroyAngels I watched it and thought to myself

It's neat I can enjoy a story that mostly consists of people walking and talking to each other

@HowtoDestroyAngels I should have added more context. It’s been compared to the stand. Has some similarities but unique as well.
4thdimensiondream · 70-79, M
@Sidewinder @HowtoDestroyAngels no love for the Dead Zone, Storm of the Century, Dr Sleep, Salem’s Lot? Did I leave any out? Oh Pet Semetary? There was another about a famous house and a haunted room.
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
@4thdimensiondream Doctor Sleep was pretty good. I also enjoyed IT, both chapters one and two.
stand by me.

the running man
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
Shawshank is the best, followed closely by Stand by Me.
BohoBabe · M
Imma say Shawshank too.
4thdimensiondream · 70-79, M
@BohoBabe I’ve prob watched it 25-30x. It’s so re-watcheable!
BohoBabe · M

The Shining.
valentinesdaywife · 41-45, F
Both the Shining.. And the sequal
4thdimensiondream · 70-79, M
@valentinesdaywife Dr Sleep had its disturbing moments for sure. I preferred the book over the movie 🎦 which is usually the case.
valentinesdaywife · 41-45, F
I read both books.. DR. Sleep was a terrific book. but the movie was solid.. They dealt w/Mr. Halloren much more in the book if I recall
4thdimensiondream · 70-79, M
@valentinesdaywife did you watch Welcome to Derry? It really delves into Halleran’s back story.
Jessmari · 46-50, T
Stand By Me and Christine.
4thdimensiondream · 70-79, M
@Jessmari the Body was a great story and Reiner did a great job with the movie. I didn’t get into Christine book or movie.
campfire · 51-55, M
