Favorite Stephen King adapted movie?

Close for me between Shawshank & Green Mile. I just saw one I didn’t know was a King story called Life of Chuck. Very unusual and very good I thought. It came out in 2025.

Never been big into ANY King movie -- but I LOVE the original TV mini-series of THE STAND, and almost as good was the mini-series version of IT.

@ChipmunkErnie I love that mini series too. They did a great job with the casting with the exception of Flagg for me. He was nothing like I pictured. The remake was weak.

@4thdimensiondream I didn't mind Sheridan at all, though at the time he reminded me of radio host Don Imus.

@ChipmunkErnie great call! I see that. Flagg for me, my image, was more like a bigger meaner Willie Nelson

@ChipmunkErnie although I’m more of a Howard Stern fan, have you ever heard Imus’s 1200 hamburgers bit? Pretty funny.

@4thdimensiondream Don't thin k I've heard the 1,200 hamburgers bit, but maybe I just don't remember it. I never listened to him on the radio, but watched him for years when his show was simulcast on TV.
