Favorite Stephen King adapted movie?

Close for me between Shawshank & Green Mile. I just saw one I didn’t know was a King story called Life of Chuck. Very unusual and very good I thought. It came out in 2025.

I haven't read any of his books to compare but I think The Mist is my favorite.

@caPnAhab I loved the book and movie. I’m sure by now you know the book had a very diff ending. I just heard they are making a new film too. Not sure why.

@4thdimensiondream I actually don't know how The Mist, the book ends. I'll have to read it but it would be at the end of my to-do list

A new Stephen King adaptation or a new Mist? The latter would be super pointless. I did just watch The Long Walk recently. I enjoyed that one

@caPnAhab a remake of the Mist. There was also a tv mini series of the Mist. I think the movie was very good. Not sure why they are making a new one.

It's neat I can enjoy a story that mostly consists of people walking and talking to each other
