I love Baki, and the original series. Inspires me to workout and train.

Animes great, it's silly, dramatic but tells better stories because of how far it goes with it.

I’ve been into anime since I was 6. I didn’t realize it was ever nerdy 💀 Nana is my favorite. Don’t watch it if you don’t want to be disappointed tho. Because the writer got really sick and never finished making it. So there is no ending.

I like the adult oriented anime and hentai

Right, I was a nerd before it was cool lmao

I'm really liking "The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure", and that one ongoing show with the fat guy who leveled up and became different

As for older stuff, I definitely liked Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero, really old stuff the original Dragon Ball was pretty cool

How about you?
Naruto Shippuden, Ghost In The Shell, Trigun, Attack on Titan, Shiki, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.

The thing about anime is that it's a format and a such has a broad array of genres. Some are definitely for nerdy types, but not all.

It's hard for me to list favorites because I consume so much. Some notable ones for me though....

Outlaw Star I originally saw on cartoon network and was kind of my first anime. I got interested but didn't get sucked in.

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha was the first one I actually downloaded episodes for and watched start to finish across multiple arcs.

Akatsuki no Yona is probably my favorite that I would like to see continued today.

For someone not familiar with anime that wanted to get started, I would point them to Erased. I think that one is most capable of appealing to non anime watchers. It's very good.

I personally watch a lot of isekai trash these days. But I've got a pretty broad range. One of the cute ones I'm enjoying this season is Yuri Is My Job.

If you like psychological horror and anime, I implore you to watch Perfect Blue. Great animation and legit one of the scariest films I've seen.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
I like Death Note, up until the seasons with N. They make that guy so brilliant, I swear he's psychic or some shit. It kills the realism, and that's saying something when you're talking about a TV show that revolves around Japanese gods of death handing out books you can use to kill people.
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@LordShadowfire the live action movie was utter crap though.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@basilfawlty89 I've heard nothing but bad things about it. Usually, I'll eventually get curious as to just how bad a thing could be, because it can't possibly be that terrible. But in the case of the live-action movie, I'm taking everyone's word for it.
