Once had a place where I often saw coyotes. Even bobcats and a occasional mountain lion.
They all shy away from people usually. Yet that was not a large town with a lot of people.

Next time I see a dog walking around town wearing a plastic winter coat – I’m going to laugh at it. That coyote has a nice healthy looking fur coat.
Cheers and happy weekend!

@JimboSaturn I do but she roams the area where I work

@Jenny1234 I saw one at my work while I was going for a run at lunch and it wasn't even scared of me. In fact it stood in my way, it scared me a bit. City coyotes!

@JimboSaturn they are not scared! They walk up and down the sidewalk on my street at home because we’re only a block from the ravine. There is always at least one in the schoolyard behind my house. I can’t tell you how many times I have called animal control about them when it’s morning and the kids are going to be showing up for school.

If wild things get used to us, we should respect boundaries..😷
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@whowasthatmaskedman The truth is we infringed on their land.

@JimboSaturn Right. In the big city where I reside, we dont get much in the way of animals.. However, I help out the local native birds, with water (important here) and food if the season is rough. And the reward is trust. One or two cheeky ones even try to follow me into the house. But we dont do that..😷

What's that 'round her neck?
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F

Not being a wise guy, ok... but if this is the coyote minus a tail then what's around her neck is probably what's left of a net of some kind.

A coyote roaming sidewalks in Toronot, even Etobicoke blows my mind. It just feels weird, like a coyote in Staten Island or something
