What lengths did you go to in order to see something rare and special

I once took a motorboat from Grand Manan island to Machias Seal Island to see Puffin birds. I just love them and we don’t have them where I live.

The boat ride was freezing cold and terrifying and the only good thing was that we were followed by dolphins jumping behind us in the waves

I went to my sons graduation from his university and then hopped on a plane and flew to vegas for my stepsons wedding all in 5 hours. It was crazy
Eight hour flight, 2 hours of driving on the wrong side of the car and road to see Stonehenge.

@Sojournersoul I’ll bet it was incredible. One of my pendulums came from Stonehenge. My daughter bought it at the gift shop

@Jenny1234 🤗for as cold as it was it must of been worth it for the spectacle you witnessed
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@smiler2012 I think you’re right!
nedkelly · 61-69, M
@smiler2012 How did you get my police record for receiving stolen goods 😁👮😁
smiler2012 · 56-60
@nedkelly 🤔i never your name gave it away and the fact there was something dodgy about you lol 😆

The Stealth Bomber (B2) was first revealed to public in the mid 90s. At distance, and short intervals for secrecy.

I ran & picked up a buddy to race into town & see the B2 Spirit Stealth Bomber do a 1 time, 2 min fly past.

We just hit the top of the elevated expressway as it turned a circle around the Space Needle over the city.

@SethGreene531 that’s very cool!
@Jenny1234 Thrill of a lifetime, I'd never seen it before.

Will remember that forever.

As will you, meeting the rare, but adorable Puffin!
They're so sweet!!

Seeing the rare KEA bird was exceptional along the route to Milford Sound in NZ.

It landed on top of the car while stopping at a stopover.

Journey was more than 1000km to see stunning mountains.

It is very clever and gorgeous.
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@scorpiolovedeep wow it reallly is gorgeous

Did you see many? I once took a three hour boat trip to Lundy Island (Lundy is from the Old Norse for puffin) to see puffins. I love them so much, and their Latin name fratercula arctica ("little brother of the north").
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@SunshineGirl they are beautiful
It was and that is so cool it came from there.

Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@PotsaLuck oh yes I did! They’re stunning
trotskyaxn4 · 41-45, M
