I hate spiders 🕷

I was scrolling my phone in the bathroom and I saw the biggest longest legs spider I have ever seen in my life, I literally threw away my underwear and ran and got a huge piece of wood that my husband was planning to make a shelf with and crushed it to death, I was screaming no one came to rescue me so I had to act fast, luckily it stayed put and didn't move, I think he thought I would be too scared of his size to react, I have been to the spider section of the zoo before and walked under falling giant spiders but this was much more terrifying!! I am still shaking 😂

I grow a lot of tomatoes which I use for canning and this year I've been plagued with those green tomato caterpillars which eat the leaves and end up eating the tomatoes if they get that far!

As far as insects are concerned inside your home, check out a product called "Catchmaster" which are glue strips you place along the baseboards of your basement. They trap all crawling insects and mice who venture across it.

Dry on the bottom where it lies on the floor but extremely sticky on top. Just peel off the protective layer from the glued side and set it on the floor out of sight. Insects like spiders are attracted to it and get stuck once they step in the sticky surface. Just throw it away and open a new one after about a month. They cost about 50 cents each and can be purchased at Home Depot.
