Would you buy something that could catch a spider without harming it?

Yes, I don't believe in killing spiders.

I leave most spiders alone. Except for black widow spiders and brown recluse spiders, they can send a person to the hospital. Had a black widow spider above my doorway outside one time. It could have fallen on someone and bit them. I torched with a small cedar branch that I lit.

I do use a simple stick that catches them with their webs and then I release the stick 🤷🏻

Well, I DID buy Have-a-Heart traps for the mice that had once invaded the house where I lived with the ex...but they quickly populated themselves beyond the level at which we could catch and release them. (The ex wanted to be a survivalist, and bought all kinds of food which he stored without CONTAINERS in our basement.)

I leave the spiders alone, and I leave ALL bugs alone unless and until they swarm or overwhelm my living space. Spiders are good. They EAT the other bugs.

It's a small plastic ramikin that was full of yoghurt or similar when I bought it, and a piece of thin card.
