Once my nephews tarantula escaped its cage at his birthday party. I was able to catch it in my hands and throw it back in the cage quickly without it harming me. Pretty scary but I knew I needed to handle it quickly

@CSYLFM Tarantulas won't hurt you, the only real concern is getting urticating hairs in your eyes.

@4meAndyou I'm more concerned with the urticating hairs getting in her eyes, tarantulas don't usually bite right away.
