What's worse than finding a large spider in your bed ?

Weeelll...one night I walked into my bedroom in the dark, and turned on the booklight. I was about to get in bed when I saw a silvery thread with a large spider attached, dangling right above my pillow.

I tried to "get" him, but the best I could do was get him to retract his thread and return to the ceiling.

I read for three hours, unable to sleep...because I could see him right up there on the ceiling, still, right above my pillow. 😰

@4meAndyou I can sympathize. I've done the same, seen a spider out of reach on the ceiling, and just lay there staring at it, because no one is awake to get it for me.

@Nimbus I was so exhausted I had to sleep. And I did. He was gone in the morning.

@4meAndyou I was stretched out in my recliner chair reading the newspaper and saw a brown recluse spider near my hand. I got up out of that recliner with it stretched out, didn’t have time or want to risk touching the electric controls to put it upright. Quickest I moved in a long time much less get out of that chair.

@cherokeepatti I could not deal with that...not inside my house. I would be calling Terminex three times a week. 😰

@4meAndyou I think they hang out in the fireplace and the recliner is nearby. I need to spray inside of it. Found some natural sprays. Had a damn scorpion climb up my leg under my jeans one time at my aunt’s house. That freaked me out.
