I really love escargot in garlic, sherry wine, and butter, but one of the comments here made me wonder how this foreign visitor could be utilized...he or she is too larger to pop in your mouth in one bite, but I am thinking chop them up in snail chowder! In New England we eat a lot of clam chowder, and the clams and snails are almost identical in consistency! 😊

@4meAndyou I believe the majority of fear here is their reproduction rate as it seems to have a voracious appetite for pretty much anything. In terms of including them in a diet for human consumption, their controled environment actually makes them a super food source ironically for much the same reasons.
