I ran over a bunny the other day

Sorry to hear that, we all know that you are so kind and sweet, you wouldn't do it intentionally. We all make mistakes.

What could you have done to avoid it? Feeling bad isn't going to solve anything. What have you learned and how can you change your driving behaviour?

I did that one time.

I took the lifeless-looking bunny to a farmhouse. I knocked on the door, and a lady came out. I told her what I had done, and she went into her house and came back with a spray bottle of something.

She sprayed it all over the rabbit. In just a moment, the rabbit opened one eye, looked at us, then waved. I put the rabbit on the porch where it ran around in circles, then waved to us again. Then, it jumped out into the yard, ran around a few more times, looked back, waved once more, and then bounded into the woods and was gone.

Astonished, I said to the woman, "That was absolutely miraculous.
I just have to ask you what you have in that bottle."

She replied non-nonchalantly, "It's just hare restorer with permanent wave."

A Jack Rabbit?

Poor thing but at least you feel bad.

That is okay. It was unintentional.
