Men are weird. We ran out of shower gel, I caught my fella washing himself in the stuff we used to wash dishes.

Go to the shop ffs.🤷🏼‍♀️
Pinkstarburst · 51-55, F
If it’s good for baby ducks it’s good for him.
@Pinkstarburst EXACTLY! "Mild dish soap" is directed to be used for many things. Dawn is proud of donating their soap to clean animals caught in oil spills.

Soap is soap
Elessar · 26-30, M
@AthrillatheHunt If it works for the dishes, it works for the hair!
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Elessar if it can get rid of those stuck on chili stains and pots of spaghetti sauce I think it will be okay for a bit of body oil. Lol
HumanEarth · 56-60, F
@AthrillatheHunt I agree with you

Men being eco-friendly
Adogslife · 61-69, M
I would’ve just used yours 😂
Pretzel · 61-69, M
Well it's soap, right?
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
Man here. During Covid, when we were at home all the time and supposed to wash our hands constantly, I would frequently use dishwashing soap (like Dawn) because it was right there. One week later my hands were literally bleeding. Who knew?
Guardian · 56-60, M
Soap is soap, right? 😆😅😂🤣
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
I'm just trying to figure out why/how you're married to a polar bear, let alone why it's using dish detergent instead of soap... 🤔😉
Guardian · 56-60, M
@wildbill83 huh? I'm NOT married!
Sapio · 51-55, M
I've used dish soap before when I had oil and grease on my skin.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@Sapio Hweck, Dawn is used all the time to save wildlife caught in oil spills.
He's got the right idea; dish soaps are gentle.
Ambroseguy80 · 56-60, M
At least he was washing himself! 😬
ElRengo · 70-79, M
We are ecologic! 😄
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Both are probably made of the same stuff. Soap is soap when you got no other choice. AND, if dish soap is good for saving birds and animals caught in an oil spill, I don't think it will hurt your fella.
Slade · 56-60, M
I've done that 😌
HumanEarth · 56-60, F
Why, its the same stuff with a different name
Mmm, Fairy Liquid shower, bubbly 🚿
Get bubbles in your mouth. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Patriot96 · 56-60, C
He uses body wash! Eeew
What's wrong with that?
It works.🤷‍♂️
Maybe he was gered up to have a shower and there wasnt time ?

I always have spares in the cupboard so this kinda thing doesnt need to happen .

But in truth, all these products have basically the same or similar ingredients.
Shampoos are just bulked out more with water and cellulose thickeners.
Upto 80% of shampoo is water 🤷‍♀️

Before the war, yellow cake soap was ised to wash EVERYTHING , from laundry to floors to bodies .

The 'bathroom procuct boom' , happened directly after WW2, and was a way to use some of the chemical discoveries made during the war, and take advantage of the upward trending ecconomy .

Hence....all these products are basically a well planned scam .

Not saying they arent useful or smell nice .
They are just overpriced liquid soap.
MethDozer · M
Or just use the shampoo ffs. It's the exact samething
@MethDozer You know, i think all people need it.
We shed so much skin each day !

I have a sort of woven net/cloth thing i use.
Then a volcanic stone when i can be bothered.

I once tried doing both with moisturizer before a shower - and frankly i was horrified at how much skin comes off !👀

Blaugh🤢

And don't get me started on feet 😩
