I hate our obsession with lawns.

Just ignore the neighbours. The bees and other creatures are important.

I'd die living next to you. have to have a perfectly maintained yard. a lawn isn't a lawn unless it's like perfectly laid carpet

So, no matter what you do you will piss someone off and might get killed as a result, either by the cops, your neighbors, strangers, or the bees.

I hear ya! Too often, perfect grass is more important than a garden for fruit and veggies...and yes, I'd leave it til the flowers and bees are all done. :)

I don’t believe in mowing my lawn because it’s horrible for the environment. I don’t care enough about my neighbors to even have that cross my mind. It’s free for them to mind their own business.

Mine isn’t perfect and I don’t usually care what my neighbors lawn looks like. But this morning I spent 2 1/2 hours fertilizing it.

I think lawns should be mowed but it's up to you not your neighbors how, when and why
