@TurtlePink Easy to care for too, they mostly just eat dead leaves and certain types of fungi.

@SW-User In my opinion, centipedes are more intimidating then millipedes.

@Pinkstarburst I'm not certain but I believe it's an [i]A. gigas[/i] based upon its coloration.

@BlueMetalChick I don’t think I would have be brave enough to pick it up, but I would have watched him for hours.

@Pinkstarburst I only decided to handle him because I was quite certain he isn't venomous. Cousin to the millipede is of course the centipede, and although I am interested in them, I'm hesitant to pick them up because they can bite, and some varieties are dangerous enough to put you in the hospital.

@Miklee02 Thankfully not, very few species of millipede are predatory. Most varieties feed on dead leaves, wood, and sometimes fungi.

Their cousins, centipedes, do bite though, and while I'm interested in them, I'm hesitant to handle them because some species are incredibly venomous.
