@Pinkstarburst I'm not certain but I believe it's an [i]A. gigas[/i] based upon its coloration.
@BlueMetalChick I don鈥檛 think I would have be brave enough to pick it up, but I would have watched him for hours.

@Pinkstarburst I only decided to handle him because I was quite certain he isn't venomous. Cousin to the millipede is of course the centipede, and although I am interested in them, I'm hesitant to pick them up because they can bite, and some varieties are dangerous enough to put you in the hospital.
