yes... Hell yes! what I wouldnt give to talk to my mother just once more.? They go so fast and leave a big hole in you. Call her! Be thankful you have her, because not having her is rough.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
For a guy, that’d be a horrible sign. Any woman should run away as fast as possible.
Do it while you can.
Would love to talk to my mom. Give anything to

BlueVeins · 22-25
I don't think most people do it, but it's very sweet.
zorroo · 56-60, M
please do every day, every hour before its too late.
nothing like a mother.
nothing like a mother.
siranul · F
there's no such thing as normal. what's normal? common? then I guess maybe not? even then, people are more various these days in lifestyle so I'm sure there are lots of people who live with their mother at an older age or whatever. but it's not bad, if that's what you mean. it's a personal choice. As someone who doesn't have a mother, if I did, I would talk to her everyday I don't care how old I was. and I wouldn't give af who thought it was "normal" or not.
hope that helps!

LilPrincess · 46-50, F
Absolutely. I would give anything to be able to talk to my mama even if it was just for one day
HannibalAteMeOut · 22-25, F
Yes why not. My parents are in their 50's and call theirs multiple times a week and if they lived close they'd visit just as frequently too.
btchstfu · F
i would literally get withdrawal symptoms whenever i dont talk to my mom. so i think its normal
TeirdalinFirefall · 31-35, M
At 35+ they better, they won't have their parents much longer and should enjoy the time they still have left.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
If you're doing it and you both enjoy it, it's normal. If you are doing it out of some real or imagined obligation, it's not normal. If you know someone who does it ("asking for a friend") and you want to shame them, then shame on you for not being normal. If either one of you wants to do it and the other doesn't, in that scenario, that's normal whether you do it or not do it. Finally, if this is just hypothetical question for the sake of it, that's normal.
meJess · F
From the basement to ask why the Wi-Fi is slow?
TxOutlawTyler · M
@meJess how ya been
ButterRobot · 51-55, M
Is she still alive or is this a Norman Bates kinda thing ?
iamelijah · 26-30, M
I don't see any problem. Its normal. I talk to my dad every day.
If your mom is alone and needing somebody to talk to? Sure.
reflectingmonkey · 51-55, M
its too general to say if its normal or not, dependson the context. if someone needs to talk to his mom everyday it could be a sign of some emotional development issue butif the mother losther husband and feels alone then its normal for someone to call her every day. if you parents were decent parents its normal after all they did for us to go out of our way to keep them happy.
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
I talk to my mom almost every day, well I listen. She does the talking. :)

It's sweet.
Sadly, Not a lot of people do it.

Yeah I talk to mines every day
Notanymore · 36-40, M
I don't see why not. My mom is a great person. She stays busy enough and neither of us aren't much chatters, but, if she wanted to catch up every day, she deserves as much for raising me and keeping me alive for 18 years. Not to mention how much she's done for everyone else.
Heartintx · 46-50, M
I lost a lot of time when I was younger through bad relationships when I shut her out and after my dad passed I try to talk to her everyday because you never know the last time you will get to point out jokingly how she messed you up as a child. Best cheap therapy.
Spoiledbrat · F
It's probably not common but not a big deal. My hub talks to his dad sometimes every day but when he's working he gets tired and doesn't talk to him as much.
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
Some people have good relationships with their parents even as adults, and remain close throughout their lives.
Yeah, I can't imagine it, either.

I chat with mine everyday. Not weird. But sharing a bubble bath might be a little weird

No it’s not I know a lot of people who still talk to their parents especially mom
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
I do… she often calls me in morning to check in and talk to my kids as well
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
Well if you are living in her basement it would likely be a good idea.
SW-User
I don't talk to mine but I don't see anything wrong with it
saragoodtimes · F
Mom and I talk frequently not every day though
SW-User
It depends on what normal is to that person
deadteddy · 26-30, F
Sure? Especially if you live far from each other.
Arorin · M
I cant speak on what people with mothers do
Funlov · M
I think Sunday but everyone is different 😊
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
Yes, talk to her.
fun4us2b · M
Sure, why not?
Thevy29 · 41-45, M

Azlotto · M
My parents are in their mid 80s, so I try to talk to them every day.
TxOutlawTyler · M
Yes
DDonde · 31-35, M
She won't be around forever. Do it while you can
SW-User
Hmmm, I guess if you have a great relationship that you get on like friends then yes, if it's because you've been emotionally blackmailed into doing this because your mother is controlling then, nope it's not normal
Though, who's to say what is normal, everyone is free to live their lives as they please
