@originnone Yeah, that's true. Most of the stuff coming from the radio is crappy. A couple of years back, I also remember one who sounded as if she was throwing up and there was even a parody of her doing exactly that. 😂 If I'm not mistaken, it was Kesha.

I grew up in the 70s.ABBA were great topping the charts with great hits. Musically they were good, catchy songs but nothing special when you analyse them.
Ok , true. Not fair . I'm comparing them to the Beatles, Brian Wilson, Crosby Stills and Nash .

I figure they all have more skill then i do. I have no skills and in that idea figure it ain't my place to loo at others and dis their achievements. In a similar note (get it note!) I think talent is a poor word choice for the music and acting industry . They either have knowledge or skill but not sure about 'natural talent" in the way an athlete may have that.

I just personally think the singing in "Don't you want me" by The Human League is horrible and I don't understand how could it have gotten so famous and played so much even to this day. It's...not good.

And are overrated , but nobody famous has zero talent . Becoming famous is a talent in itself.

So far, it's largely "artists I don't like". I did see a live feed of Lana Del Rey early on and she had a lot of trouble singing--real pitchy, dawg. Now, that's separate from how I feel about her music, but don't ask.
