Have you guys ever seen an African cave dwelling spider?

This thing is a freakin' mutant...

Fearsome looking as they are, they're mostly harmless as they possess no venom glands. They're also sometimes called whip spiders or tailless whip scorpions, though they're neither true spiders nor true scorpions. They're an order called Amblypygi which is extremely old and has lived on Earth for at least 360,000,000 years.

No! I am glad I haven't. 😧

@Rose0415 Yeah! But I quickly realized it was dead. 🤣 I told him he could unpack the rest. I showed him where the washing machine was too!!

@BlueMetalChick if it's not a spider then what is it?

Also so Vipers are still the most awesome Venom creature 😁
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Viper It's an arachnid of the order Solifugae.

The heck is that thing???
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SubstantialKick It's an arachnid of the order Amblypygi, commonly called a whip spider, though it is not truly a spider.

When did a scorpion and a spider create this and how did they do it?
Rose0415 · 36-40, F
@Beatbox34 You know what's funny about this, is that it's also known as a tailless whip scorpion.
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
@Rose0415 Dang it. Now if I see, I run 😆
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Beatbox34 Not to be confused with the whip scorpion, or vinegaroon.
This one looks better.

I’m glad it hasn’t migraated to my country !
Viper · M
Nope, how dangerous to humans is it?
Rose0415 · 36-40, F
@Viper It's not dangerous at all, according to BlueMetalChick. She has all the info 😁.

I'm never sleeping again 😦
