No! I am glad I haven't. 😧

@SweetMae They look quite frightening, but they can't harm you. They possess no venom or stinger, and their mouths are incapable of biting a human. Their pedipals are able to pinch though, so they can be irritating if they get a hold of your finger or something.

@BlueMetalChick Thank you for letting me know that. I always appreciate the depth of your knowledge on so many subjects.

@SweetMae I've found a recent interest in paleobiology, and my many deep dives into various periods of geologic history has given me some fun trivial knowledge of random species of animals.
Also, I kinda just like creepy crawly things, and learning about them.

@Rose0415 Have you seen solifuges before? They're also sometimes called camel spiders, despite not truly being spiders. Similar to the whip scorpion you posted here, they're exceptionally bizarre looking.

@BlueMetalChick I hope you enjoy your new found interest.

@Rose0415 Very strange things. They look like what I'd imagine aliens from a different planet might look like.

@SweetMae That makes sense. They like to hide in cool dark places. Their natural habitat is arid desert, so they prefer to stay out of the sun.
Viper · M
@BlueMetalChick if it's not a spider then what is it?
Also so Vipers are still the most awesome Venom creature 😁

@Viper It's an arachnid of the order Solifugae.
