What is one of the most ridiculous things that you have ever been blocked for?

A couple of months ago, this woman I was chatting with on Instagram blocked me, because I wasn't responding to her messages quick enough for her. She was like, "What happened? Where did you go" then 10 seconds later while I am typing she just said, "Okay, I will have to block you now" 🤣.
I think that happens a lot.

People want the same speed of communication that they get when face to face.

Waiting for people to type is boring.
The temptation is to multitask.
That leads to distraction, and hence even more delayed responses.
If the other person is doing nothing but waiting, that leads to boredom, or misinterpretation.

It is not an ideal medium for relationships.

@bijouxbroussard When I was new here I ended up in a 5 minute "relationship" with a user named Wildflowerr. She ended it so soon for the exact same reason as above...lol.
@SubstantialKick Yeah...that sort of thing doesn’t improve, unfortunately.
There’s a guy on the site who will send women unsolicited messages, and if they don’t answer right away, he will actually send another message calling them “rude”, cursing them out, and will then block them. I only receive direct messages from people I friend. So I didn’t find his two messages until he’d already blocked me, but several other women had described his behavior.

@bijouxbroussard I think his mommy and daddy should have a chat with him on how to talk to women 🤷🏾‍♂️.
I dont care if everyone here blocks me the more idiots that block me the less idiots I have to deal with 😁

I once got blocked for agreeing with the blocker.....🤷‍♀️
@SarahAndSamantha Did they not realize you were agreeing with them ?
I’ve had that happen, and the person started arguing with me. 😅

@bijouxbroussard That's the only thing I can figure. They thought I was against them. I THOUGHT I made it clear, though lol

DAN dude I just thought of something!
Maybe the woman you were talking to was the "Overly attached girlfriend" (if you know who that was).
You think being blocked for taking 10 whole seconds to respond is bad, well she has killed some of her lovers for lesser offenses.

I think sometimes when people block others for no apparent reason it's because they don't want their spouse to know who they are talkin to. Just a speculation.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@CestManan Yeah, good point...
Leaving them on read. Millennials I tell you 🤦🏻‍♀️
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@DrScissorhands Yep, those millennials are really something else I tell ya 🤷🏾‍♂️. I would know since I am one myself 😆.
So am I. Wrong era and all that @SubstantialKick
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
@DrScissorhands I know just what you mean 🤷🏾‍♂️...
One of the funniest blocks came when a guy announced on someone else’s post that whenever someone blocked him it meant he’d “won“.
That puzzled me and I asked him, “what exactly have you won ? You may not have lost anything, but how is it winning that someone decided they don’t want to see you on the site anymore ?”
Apparently that made him angry, and he blocked me.
The OP said, “well, Bij, I guess that means you’ve won.”
🤷🏽‍♀️🤭

@bijouxbroussard Maybe he was a troll and his sole goal was to annoy his target; blocking was proof.
Or maybe he was a sore loser, and he lied about it so as not to show or admit how he felt.
Or maybe it was intended as a retaliation.
