What have you had stolen from you?

Withintent · M
My tools from my truck. And what's messed up is a thief isn't going to use them, just sell them for a fraction of the cost.
pennynoodles · 56-60, F
We've had that happen twice. @Withintent
Withintent · M

Personal belongings such as jewelry and clothing. My home had been broken into a few times.

Only one thing of value: a gold watch purchased by my father's best friend, a fighter pilot in WWII, who was killed in a crash after the war. His mother gave me the watch when I graduated from college.
exexec · 61-69, C
@pennynoodles Totally irreplaceable.
pennynoodles · 56-60, F
When I was a child, my parents house was broken in to whilst we were away visiting grandparents. They didn't steal much (nothing much of value to steal) but they did take a mouth organ that my grandad had given my mum that he played to her when she was a child. She was devastated. @exexec

@pennynoodles That is sad!

I've had two bikes stolen from me. The first time I left it unlocked; the second time they just cut right through the lock. Now I use a much stronger lock!
pennynoodles · 56-60, F
