What would society be like if people were allowed to show up to work when they felt like it? 😅

It’d be like jobs were all staffed by 16-year olds...*remembering how they would not call in when they’d be late or were sick, etc, how they would quit without any notice, and how many lasted one week to maybe a month*

I have certain projects that require me to be to work at certain times, but those aren't every day, or even every week. I usually set my own schedule, with the parameters of I need to get the work done and shouldn't go into overtime for non-billable hours. I like not having to worry about being late, or feeling bad about stopping for a coffee on the way to work.
