I Got The Cane In School 6 Of The Best

In my senior school girls were always punished in private. It would mean either the slipper or the cane on the hand that they didn’t write with. For the boys it was slightly different, most teachers including some female teachers had a slipper in their desk, which they didn’t hesitate to use on us boys in front of a mixed class. It was embarrassing enough to have to come to the front and touch your toes in front of a mixed class, but worse still if it was a female teacher administering the slipper. Caning, however was done in private, either being told to wait behind after class, or being sent to a senior teacher or head. Usual routine was a lecture then being told to untuck your shirt at the back prior to touching your toes or bending over a desk.

I received six of the best twice at Grammar school when I was 14 from my headmaster. The second one really hit home hard, didn't go back for a third one.

There must have been some really dodgy teachers about . You know, those that get off on the idea of punishment fetish. I'm glad I was at school when corporal "punishment" (ie fetish) was already long time banned

My experiences of the cane at school are almost identical - we got it mostly in the Principal or Vice Principal's study. Sometimes we were caned with co-offenders in the room, but more often just by yourself. But your account of those big groups being caned together after some sort of crackdown sends shivers down my spine. We had the same exactly. The memory, as a senior girl, of having to bend over in front of snotty 11 years olds to be caned still gives me goosebumps of embarrassment all these years later. Of course in those days you had no options: just grit your teeth and take it.

I know this is a posting you did a while ago, but I have only just seen it. I went to a girls-only secondary school where the cane was still administered quite regularly by the headmistress and her deputy. I never got caned for an individual offence - there were always co-offenders. Again, as you have described it, we were mostly called in one by one to the study to be given our punishment all alone. Just once, and i cannot think of the reason, four of us were together in the study and witnessed each others caning. Even though we were all girls and being punished by a female, I remember wanting to die of embarrassment bending over, flipping up my skirt, and getting my bottom caned so publicly. I simply CANNOT IMAGINE what it must be like getting caned in front of boys! I know from other postings, you were very stoic in the way you took your canings -how I envy you - but surely girls in that situation must have felt much greater embarrassment -shame - even humiliation at having boys see them getting their bottoms caned just over knickers? Or am I imposing my own exaggerated sense of modesty onto a situation that was quite normal within your school environment? Sorry if this appears a bit naive

When I was headmaster, I would generally punish a child in private. However, if children misbehaved together, they would be punished together in my office.

At my primary teachers smacked both boys and girls otk in class sometimes fully clothed bottom and sometimes over underwear for both sexes THE DISCIPLINE rules applied to both sexes so both were hand smacked plimsolled or caned

At my primary school boys and girls alike could be spanked or slippered in front of teh class, lining up in the corridor, or in the office.
At the all boys grammar school I went to most teachers gave lines or detentions for lesser offences but a handful still smacked or slippered, either in class or after class. Senior teachers punished in the privacy of their office which I think nearly always meant the cane so I saw a few boys get smacked or slippered but never witnessed anyone getting the cane.

At my school CPs were administered in the front of the class. Many times there is a row a students (boys and girls) ready to pe spanked. In my (boy) high school, however, the cane was delivered in private.

This was boys over trousers and girls over nickers .. .. were you all pilut in place and the administrators moved or did the administrator stay in one spot and the recipients change .. .. ..

If I had been in that line-up, I would been in heaven even though I was getting it too!
