Nope. Uber is supposed to know your name. DON"T get into an Uber unless they say your name first.

Yeah But I didn’t listen and got in one anyway only twice but never again as it was so scary he kept driving past his house and it taken about two hours before he let me out of the car. I only wanted to be taken to a hotel but he got mad when I wouldn’t stay at his place so he kept me longer. I kept saying I don’t want to stop just hurry up and let me out but nope. It was so scary he kept Making weird jokes and thought it was funny he had been driving around so long , It was the second time I visited that city so I didn’t know my way around much I did know I got taken out of it because I remember we’re the bus taken me and he kept lying about were we was. I was very very lucky I got home safe the next day.

Yeah, but I was also taught I'd be using cursive all throughout high school and college and needed to learn to do math by hand because I wouldn't always be carrying a calculator in my pocket. Cut to a few years later where high school and college requested everyone to print or type out papers because it was hard to read handwriting and we all carry cell phones with us everywhere we go.

When I lived near DC people regularly got into cars with strangers who were trying to meet HOV requirements. It was weird as hell and went against everything I was taught growing up. Better than the bus though!
