Stereotypes do exist...we all are stereotypes in some way..that's ok. When people see it as wrong and bad...that is toxic...racists are cowards...afraid of anyone who looks, thinks, behaves, believes differently than they do.They are so threatened. That hatred is fear based I think...more commonly know as ignorance

stereotypes are often intensely annoying and I think are almost inevitable, as a shorthand or mental laziness that most of us have .. well, lots of.
Racism I think is unlimitedly bad, but, having been brought up in a somewhat* racist society, I'm forever fighting against the tendency to lapse into it.

@SpencerMurgatroyd Slavery. Right from the start, slavery was a big chunk of the economic development of the place.

@Heyimkayden Real racism exists and has varying degrees and causes, everything from normal ethnic friction to outright hatred. It's also overblown. It'll never be truly eradicated, but a just society can minimize any effects in the real world to the point where it's virtually nonexistent in any truly harmful way.
Fake racism is a way to silence opposition, to proclaim a false moral high ground and demonize your opponent or prevent people from speaking out against whatever policy the person screaming racism wants.
