Do you read more than one book at a time? or are you a monogamous reader lol (committed to only one book at a time)

I am monogamous in my relationships only. Everything else is open season

One at a time. Also, once I read a book I can never read it again
NiftyWhite · 46-50, F
@SarahAndSamantha this is true for me also. why would you invest that many hours into a book you already know the story to?
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@NiftyWhite I picked up a 'new' book once that I had forgotten I had read years before. I got to the second chapter before I realized how familiar it was. Once I figured it out, I had to put it down. 6 bucks down the drain.

I can read two at once, but one has to be non-fiction and the other is fiction. I can't read two fiction books or two non-fiction books, that would be too difficult.
MrWalker · 51-55, M
Just one, also with films, I can;t watch more than one in an evening because I'm still absorbed in the one I've watched.
exexec · 61-69, C
I always have two books going, usually one fiction and one nonfiction.
I tend to stay with one, otherwise I mix them in my head.
ProfessorPlum77 · 70-79, MVIP
If they are nonfiction, I read several at a time.
