At work it’s common to ask an opinion. Here, people ask then hate the answer. So why ask the question in the first place?

Sometimes, but because of the type of work I do not necessarily. I am basically a therapist in my line of work. People want advice, but don't ever want to take it. Sometimes it's just a waste of time.

Depends on the subject. If they ask about eyeliners,that’s probably the case

I might, unless the one seeking my advice is someone close to me. Even then, I figure they just want to hear what I think about something, before they do what their own voice tells them to.
