Is being a luke warm christian a thing ?

I’ve been called a lukewarm Christian on SW more times than I can count. They call me that because I question their radicalism and over-the-top proselytizing. My faith in God has no room for hate and judgement, therefore, I’m apparently lukewarm for not condemning people to hell because they believe differently than me.

i dont think there's such a thing as being a lukewarm Christian. either you believe in jesus and try to follow his teachings or you don't. we are all basically already deemed sinners from some reason and trying to not sin further or atone for our sins is our challenge put before us but falling prey to sin is not exactly being a "bad Christian". just because you sin but consider yourself christian doesn't necessarily make you a hypocrite. its like you say, it just means you arent perfect. just because you follow jesus doesnt mean you cant be open to other things regarding spirituality as well either.

I have observed that those who are self proclaimed 100% christians are the most judgmental of other christians. I think one does best to let God decide how Christian you are.

I suppose it could be a "thing". However, your second and third sentences don't follow logic. Let me illustrate: lukewarm Christian definition= hypocrite.
However since lukewarm Christians are a subset within the set of all Christians, it does not follow that ALL Christians are lukewarm, and not ALL are hypocrites.

God is indeed perfect. He has also given us a means of atonement and redemption through His only Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Hypocrites surely do exist within Christianity. Only they know for sure who they are. And their salvation is up to them. We can't judge what might be a momentary lapse...or half a lifetime of lapsing. Only God may judge.

I know I am not perfect, and I attempt to exploit that angle, to all equally, I'm fond of the teachings found with in, all the while I know I fail. Is what woke, has missed badly at.
