What can I do for energy in the middle of the day?

Besides a nap, besides a sugary energy drink..and I don't drink coffee.
Drinking lots of water is way more effective (or 'affective' in English, sorry my language is Dutch..). It works much better for me though. Start off your day with drinking a glass of water with lemon, it works miracles for the whole rest of the day to have energy. ;)

@ItsAllAboutLove I drink lemon water upon waking. It doesn't last all day. Still feel like I need a nap.

A tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Tastes terrible, but it's energetic and has other benefits too.

@iamnikki B-Complex helps me. I take a packet of Emergen-C about midmorning and it really picks me up, but I wonder if it's mostly the sugar.

@hunkalove how long does it take to see the effecst with B complex? Isn't Emergen C a cold medicine? I know it has vitamin c. I also drink lemon water most mornings now.

@iamnikki I think it's very fast, half an hour or so. I take the D+ Emergen-C. If your body doesn't need the B vitamins they go on through like C does, it's not as though they build up.

I find moving around helps. I think of it as "getting my blood flowing".
