@SW-User in what way is the wall only a personal gain?? And why do so many rank and file dems say that a wall wont work? Where in the world does a wall not work? And how long have dems been against any kind of regulation? This is simply regulation of the border. Seems like dems are more worried that a wall might work and less worried that it wont.

@sunrisehawk Security does not mean boarder like gun freedom does not mean snipers. As you maybe noticed, I said confiscating certain guns. Not all. They can make an argument about it protecting human safety and still allowing some guns.

"...gun freedom does not mean snipers." Snipers are people. They can use any firearm and have. If your going to use the argument that it is about protecting people, then you're going to end up confiscating everything as guns (especially when suicide is removed) are down the list of methods of killing and harming other people.

@katielass If Hillary was president instead of Trump, it's very possible that she would have attempted to confiscate firearms via the national emergency process.

And with the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer cheering her on, I would think she probably would do that.

@Greybare There is no invasion. Border crossings are at a 47-year low. Trump has done nothing for two years in office, and let the government shut down instead of declaring one. All of the facts will come out in court, and Trump will lose. He even admitted that he is only doing this to get things done faster. His own statements will undermine him in court.
