Which country has the best special forces unit?

Why?
NativeOregonian · 51-55
Israel, they deal with terrorism in their back yard on a daily basis.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@SW-User If I'm wrong on something, just say it, I can suck it up, it's not the first time.

How do you come to conclussions on being wrong? If no one points it out to you? Even if it's not a person, it has to be some source that confronts you with problematic reasoning to figure it out. If I knew that I was wrong, I would not spell annything out as I say it.

The only thing that makes a problem worst is my use of the english language, but even that I can't filter out if someone doesn't spell it out for me.

And I'm really not that inteligent. I wish, but I'm not.
SW-User
@Kwek00 Your ability to communicate in English is perfect and despite your protestations to the contrary I doubt that you are
not that inteligent
.

Can you explain to me what my objection are to the article you posted?
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@SW-User Yeah, I've been rereading both articles, I think that I know what you are pointing at. Maybe I overreacted. But I'll suck it up.

1. I'm talking about a structural problem in the governement vs a marginal occurence
2. The Zeitgeist argument

After rereading everything I think you are going to point out that:

1. It was structural on both articles
2. The Zeitgeist argument still stance, since both articles talk about alleged racism.

So I was wrong both on both accords, if that is what you are pointing at.

It nice btw that you contribute to my ego, but if you knew me better, you would probably not come to that conclussion in grey. I really wish I was, but it doesn't hold up in the real world.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Israel. They're in a state of perpetually holding illegally occupied territory and someone's gotta murder those children I guess.
SW-User
@puck61 I am guessing by your reaction that it made you feel uncomfortable
@SW-User Gas lighters suck. It's passive aggressive and stupid. Go die in a fire. If you can't converse normally, then I'm not wasting my time with you.
SW-User
@puck61 When did you become so jaded? It never used to be the way
SW-User
Wakanda. All that vibranium.
The British SAS.
@Dlrannie Absolutely! Not to disparage any other special forces who I admire for their service and bravery but the SAS are in a league of their own.
Dlrannie · 31-35, F
@Majorlatency David Stirling and Paddy Mayne set the standards which still remain. Not sure if you knew that Stirling was a cousin of Simon Fraser aka Lord Lovat of Commando fame - sorry History nerd at work 🙂
@Dlrannie True!
Who Dares Wins!
It's not posssible to say. There are many specialised mission tasks which are not made available to dull-witted, media outlets. Mission tasks vary from country to country.

@EugenieLaBorgia You are very good!
@SW-User There is nothing worse than harrowing screams of an entangled basket-weaver and the tumultuous laughter of those who are watching!

Israel. The Massad has been called to the United States in the past to try to teach us airport security, and their reputation is formidable.
Carazaa · F
To tell you the truth special forces don't interest me as much as which country takes care of the less fortunate; the old, the young, and the handicapped!
nedkelly · 61-69, M
Australia, we do not go around bragging about how good we are
@nedkelly That is true. Even back in the 80's we got quite a bit of training from Aussie cadre. Yup! American soldiers on FIST teams were being trained by Aussie soldiers on recondo, survival, hand to hand, and rappelling tactics.
@nedkelly I swear on my mothers grave. I was on a FIST team, and we were trained by Australians in these areas.
*****side note factoid***** Australian soldiers developed a method of rappelling wherein troops could run face first down the side of a sheer cliff while firing their weapons. It is called "Australian rappelling" to this day, and is a very effective and terrifying form of ambush.

I will root for my brother's team on this one 😘 GIS forces. It's obvious why. <_<

It’s always the auzzies saving the day 😁🇦🇺

@Harriet03 Those Centaurs are pretty handy with their longbows :)
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
Guess the ones nobody has heard about
SW-User
@Longpatrol Andorra?
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
@SW-User aren’t they governed by Spain?
SW-User
@Longpatrol I don’t think so. But I do not know lol
[c=#359E00]fuck everyone else, Indonesia is the best[/c]
@YukikoAmagi Again. They are tougher, yes. As a patriot nationalist I hate to say it, but there are plenty of countries that have tougher soldiers. The only reason the US is best right now is money, logistics, and equipment. We may be in serious trouble because of the US military giving the God of Abraham a dishonorable discharge.
@puck61 [c=#359E00]i don't care about USA[/c]
@YukikoAmagi Well, the USA cares about you! 😎
Rickg · 31-35, M
I think most countries with modern militaries would have comparably effective special forces
The toughest would be Russia, but the most effective is the US. At least for now. Russia and China have much tougher and meaner men, but they are muscle bound (too many soldiers and not enough money or toys.) and not as well equipped as US specials .
Reflection2 · 41-45, M
There is a rating by few military magazines. Google can help you guys but few folks mentioning their nations special forces is crazyly funny
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@Reflection2 Their own national pride and patriotism, why would it be funny?
Reflection2 · 41-45, M
@NativeOregonian Isn't it funny. How they are blind, particular those nations who are responsible of state and media sponsor killing for past years.
NativeOregonian · 51-55
@Reflection2 Are you sinless yourself, ever kill a bug?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
Most of the top military powers all have fantastic SF units on an individual basis. But we have by far the largest set of SF groups.
India has it in kashmer, the rest every one knowa why...
Synyster · 51-55, M
The ones that have G4S Solutions in their country.
The French Foreign Legion has quite a history!
