Am I the only dork who adores Ancient Aliens

Not saying I believe in Ancient Aliens. But I freaking love watching all the little tidbits of history, religious texts, and science fact and how they are used in the Ancient Alien theories.

WE are not the only intelligent being in the universe even though religion tells us that God only created our planet earth,I believe other civilisations coming from the universe have visited us,or some of our own civilisations were quite advanced but disappeared in time and left traces that truly surprised us.But I certainly believe that our earth has and is being visited by advanced beings who made sprirituality their aim rather than the material and this is why they are so advanced,they are watching us and do not interfere in any ways as we have to learn from our mistakes,but I am not sanguine about it,seeing what happens in the world now and who is at the helm of our world.
@berangere I don't know that supernatural phenomena are the only thing that gives life meaning. I think that the fact that we exist is meaningful in and of itself and that a lot of people don't cherish others/strangers/living things/or existence in general as much as they might otherwise because they believe that there is some kind of existence after death.

I find the concept fascinating because there's the possibility that everything is s simulation, that some of us are simulations that "real" beings are interacting with, or that some of us (maybe all of us) are living in a matrix style simulation with NPCs to keep everything on track.

Quantum physicists have actually calculated the point on the micro-scale at which reality ceases to function properly (basically what our pixel size is) and have been able to observe that the laws of physics on quantum particles are not influenced by what is actually happening in real-time but by the specifics that seem programmed into "the simulation".

Don't know if I believe it, but it almost makes paranormal experiences into an important part of figuring out what the parameters and purpose of the program are. Is there anything else? Somewhere outside the program? Do we have bodies? Can we interact with a "Real World"? It's fascinating as a thought experiment and a puzzle I would love to solve. Maybe. You know?

@CleverFunnyNameGoesHere Yes I certainly agree with you that the fact that we exist is meaningful in and of itself and yes we must cherish what we have now because although many of us believe in an existance beyond this earthly plane,we don't know what is awating for us there and things might not be what we believe,so we should cherish the good people and things that are in our life now.Some religions don't value the physical life they have, giving more importance to the one where they will meet their God,I believe fundamantal Islam is one of them, I could even say the same about fundamental Christianity.
As for quantum physic and may be all of us living in a matrix style simulation,I have not really come across this concept,but I tend to believe in parallel universes,different dimentional worlds occuring at the same time with different vibrational levels and structures.
@berangere I was definitely fond of the multiverse model.

That show relies heavily on imagination. A hole in the rock? This could have been an ancient star portal..right
@SW-User But it's so funny. It's my favorite comedy.
@SW-User were not saying aliens built this.. but there is no evidence showing us they didn’t 😁

[c=#4C0073]interesting series .. with much left to be desired .. many incomplete pieces to the puzzle ..

Also, the hybrid nephilim offsprings which were supposedly wiped out .. they're still here lol[/c]
@SW-User I'm always fascinated by stories of giants. I didn't know until recently that America has a history of lots of giant bones.

Nope.. Fallen Angels and their hybrid nephilim offspring..
@Adstar I'm currently watching an episode that says they were aliens. That's why I asked.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@CleverFunnyNameGoesHere Well many people who cannot believe in God and Angels but are open to believing there are other planets with alien beings in the universe latch onto that as their favored explanation for all the ancient stories of visitors from heaven in different religious and historical texts..
@Adstar Whatever the reason for it. I enjoy watching it immensely.
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout 🤣🤣🤣 That's exactly how I feel about it.

I think all that stuff is a good bit of fun, it's the ones who take it seriously you have to watch out for.
Doomflower · 36-40, M
it is fun to watch
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
I used to watch this show! I feel the same. Of course, I read about serial killers and psychology and all of that too..soooo I can't vouch for the sanity in it. 😜😂
@JaggedLittlePill I'm not a huge fan of serial killers.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@CleverFunnyNameGoesHere I didn't say I was a "fan of serial killers" I said I read about them and their psychology. But ok. 👍
@JaggedLittlePill I apologize. I did not mean to imply that you were a fan of serial killers. That was epically poor word choice on my point. Just don't like reading about them. I don't handle gore well and reading or watching shows about what serial killers do can actually trigger my gag reflex and make me sick. So...I avoid it as much as possible.

I'm so sorry. 😓

I think it's a fascinating subject.
@Azlotto It is fascinating.
