Did you ever give your employer your e-mail address and current phone number?

I never give them stuff. Its none of their business. They use it for spying on you

More pay come more responsibilities.

I really liked being a rover. The position though required to be available just by its nature.

You had to fill in. Yet I got a expense account. None of the others did.

I once got a months pay just on expenses. Yes lunch was on it.

If they had my FB name account they might be able to see me or my info that I've shared, but as for an email, I don't believe they'd have any real reason or interest to spy. I think they just have it as a backup contact method. If they can't reach someone via phone, they'd email.

In my 40 years of working. I have never had an employer every call me. They sent me letters in the mail.

Yeah, I got a letter in the mail once telling me that I was going to be laid-off. That was back in the 80s/90s

I was a manager, so the president needed my phone number, but he also knew that I turned it off at 9:00 p.m. every night. He had my work email, but not my personal one.

Yes. I knew when I took the job that I was required to be reachable at all times. The only exception to that was when I was on vacation.

I once had an HR guy ask for my phone number. They didn't have it on file. I said no and told him even if he called i wouldn't answer.

I just said I'm not single and I'm not looking for 3 some partner. And if they don't stop asking I going file a complaint for harassment

I was making it all up in hopes they would drop it

Before I was retired, I had zero social media, and once retired I made sure they have all my info to get my retirement check every month put into my bank account. Outside of that I talk like a dog about the government now that had me hushed up when working.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Of course. How could they use it to spy on me?
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@HumanEarth In Europe we have SIM-cards. I heard it's different in the USA.

Whats a CV
@HumanEarth Curriculum Vitae... you need one when you're looking for work.

Over here, the employment office expects you to fly tip them at all locations that could potentially hire you in a 90 minute travel radius - and then some.
