@Bang5luts He's so cute. But, the baby panics... Well, only if it's due to thunder! Other than that, he faces the conflict head-on! 🙂

No pun intended. 😉

I improvise and focus on solving the problem efficiently
mohammedelsidey · 31-35, M
@Queendragonfly as an engineer its part of my duty
Sterler45 · 36-40, M
I step away and analyse the problem in a quiet and efficient way. Bringing in help where need be.
Sterler45 · 36-40, M
@perceptivei you will get the job. I believe in you. Trust your experience and personality. I’m sorry you are going to be laid off.
perceptivei · 36-40, F
@Sterler45 Thanks. I didn't hear from my last interview and it's gotten me down. This is for a different company and interview.
Sterler45 · 36-40, M
@perceptivei you’re welcome and it’s understandable you feel down. You will succeed in this one and I’m always here for you.
Morrigan · F
That's too vague can I have specifics please so I know which future co worker we are talking about.
Morrigan · F
@perceptivei ok so serious answer :) my experience is that you will always be given context and you are allowed to ask for clarity on the question before answering. Always put together answers to possible questions before the interview. It really is about job specific.
perceptivei · 36-40, F
@Morrigan Good answer. Thanks.
Morrigan · F
@perceptivei you are welcome

I would go back to the interview person and request them to provide a stressful situation as everyone is different
perceptivei · 36-40, F
@nedkelly Right. I'm looking at various questions online. I think the person summed up the question. It's difficult to answer without details of the situation.

I'm just curious --- is there a vague yet acceptable response?
perceptivei · 36-40, F
@nedkelly Everyone defines stress differently. A vague question like that is difficult.
nedkelly · 61-69, M
@perceptivei what you think is stressful and what I think is stressful could be very different, and in what area of work you do
DrWatson · 70-79, M
That is such a broad, vague question.

I would think of a specific example of a stressful situation I had been in and relate how I handled it.

Smoke a joint prior to going in and if they don't like you tell em to go F themselves
Pinkglitter · 31-35, F
@acpguy lol
Convivial · 26-30, F
Take a deep breath and step back from the emotional side... Try to concentrate on being objective
Redstar · 36-40, M
It would entirely depend on what that situation is and how stressful it is.
ShadowDancer · 41-45, M
Break it all down into manageable steps.
Plan it, make a schedule to avoid surprises.
Don't forget to breathe, very important.
Go get a nice cup of Coffee, and take a short rest before you get started.
Find someone who knows what they're doing and leave it to them while you take an extended vacation.

I really don’t know much about stress only time I stress is if somethings happening to my child. Such as my child put something in their mouth and I’m struggling to get it out before they swallow it. Anything else if I didn’t do it no reason to stress about it just get it fixed.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
The only thing that truly stresses me at work is lack of preparation. So I handle it by focussing and using my time more efficiently.
Pretzel · 61-69, M
first...take a breathe

analyze the situation

devise a plan

Morrowind · 26-30, M
I always hate that question
originnone · 61-69, M
“How am I doing so far?” *wink wink*

Just kidding. I’d never say that. 🫣 I’d give some example from a past job.
perceptivei · 36-40, F
@Colonelmustardseed lol. I need that emoji.
Mstre123 · 36-40, M
Just come prepared with a time you had to deal with a stressful situation
By maintaining eye contact. Be sure to keep glaring at the person asking
biandlargeny · 56-60, M
Clear your head and approach professionally
Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
Thats when with all my experience and training comes into action, dealing with a situation only becomes stressful if you allow it
By cursing, screaming, yelling, throwing and banging things around. 😂

Smile & give me as your reference

Good luck 🌷
