This week I’m training someone at work who’s struggling with grief and I’m lost for what to do for the best.

It’s one on one training. She came back last week from 2 weeks leave following her brothers sudden death and she clearly isn’t okay and needs more time. It’s a very time consuming process I’ve been set to train her - I don’t know whether to give her lots of information to try distract her from her grief or take it slow because she might not be coping well. I’d ask my supervisor for advice but she’s just buggered off to South Africa for 3 weeks.

What would you do?

I think you’re going to have to talk to her and see what she prefers.
@WintaTheAngle I think you’re right.
