Currently working for the same company for 11 years but have worked for 2 different departments. Should I be looking to change again

Depends on your particular situation. Do you like your job, your company, your boss, your co-workers? Is your salary adequate? Is there room for advancement? Do you have a good work-life balance?

@LyricalOne salary adequate, work life balance is fine most of the time but stuck below 2 long time project leads so all work goes to them then they delegate bits out

Depends on your job, current employer, what opportunities are available. Time alone isn’t that big a factor

If they stayed that long it’s a good sign. Moving for higher pay? Or displeased with current employer?@Kerrmit84

@AnneHoney will be same employer just different area of company. Would hopefully lead to more responsibility and more pay at some point

So why are you worried about trying for it?@Kerrmit84

I'm on my third position within my company so I think I'll just keep doing that. Are you ready for your next adventure?
Kerrmit84 · 36-40, M
@CoffeeFirst getting there getting bit stuck doing the work others don't have time to do with no recognition.
CoffeeFirst · 56-60, F
@Kerrmit84 That sucks. So start looking. My daughter is ready to do that same thing. I wish you well!
When you feel it's time. There's no guide to life and employment. If you wanna leave you should probably just take a jump
Kerrmit84 · 36-40, M
@MushroomFaerie slightly concerned about risk of a big jump as have a 3 month old at home
@Kerrmit84 yeah I would be too but theres always going to be something that stops you and you could end up just sitting.
You've had child 3 months ago, that's a pretty big 'risk' but I'm sure it was worth it, we have to keep growing
