Burn out does happen but yeah, when you gotta make a living and you have mouths to feed, you keep going anyway, you just have to. And the years pile up.

Which is why I give thanks for being retired every morning.

I used to dream of not working then I got diagnosed with an incurable disease and can no longer work. Moral of the story: Be careful what you wish for!
